Swept Under at Seedling and Waterhouse

Well I have been working hard on a whole new body of work to show at my exhibition at Seedling Art Space “Swept Under”, The opening will be from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday 1st of July, with hot tea and refreshments, so come have a look! or if you can’t make it that day it will be open from Sat June 30 to Sun July 15, and I will be sitting the gallery saturdays and sundays from 10am to 2pm, so come pay me a visit!

I have also been fortunate enough to have my work “Shelter” selected as a finalist in the Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize, which will be on exhibit from sat 21st July to Sunday 9th of September along with all sorts of other amazing work, so make sure you go check that out too!

Hatched 2012 at PICA!

Well, Helpmann is over, and one of my large drawings (“Furry on the Inside”) sold, which is always a bonus as an artist! I am also honoured to have been selected as one of four artists from South Australia to be part of the National Graduate Exhibition “Hatched 2012”, to be held at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts. The work that has been selected to make its way to Perth is one of my most recent sculptural works “Pelt”, which was created late 2011

I have also just moved into a new studio space with artists Patty Chehade, Liz Butler and Sarina Diakos, where I’m sure the creativity will be bouncing off the walls (and possibly into the childcare centre next door), and am currently working on some new drawings and sculptural work to be shown later on this year, so keep your eyes, ears, and inboxes peeled!!
